I made the mistake of buying a Toro Zero Turn from Home Depot. Their people didn't have much knowledge of the machine, it was pretty much "here is your book and key, have a nice day". Needless to say, I wasn't happy with their model and looking to get the same mower but in the myride. They advised it would at least 3 months if I wanted to order one.
I happened upon Burke Equipment Company in Felton and spoke with Dan Palmer regarding the 42" Z-Turn Toro and told him I was interested in the 42" "myride" model and was wondering how long it would take to get one. Dan told me he had approximately 5 in stock and he could have it ready for pick up in a few days. I had Dan to order me one and let me know when it is ready for pick up. Meanwhile, I loaded up the mower I bought from Home Depot and returned 3 days later for a refund. When I arrived at Burke's to pick up my new mower, Dan advised he would be off but had me set up to meet with a sales person to over the mower with me. I was totally impress with the reception I received when I picked up my mower. Instead of just getting a receipt, owner's manual, "1" key and enough gas to load the mower up onto my trailer, I got a FULL operating intro of the mower, 2 keys, a full tank of gas and a nice folder with the correct owner's manual. Burke Equipment will now be my go to when it comes to Toro products.

I picked-up my unit and completed my transaction with Mac and he too was very helpful and efficient. Upon using my TORO I had a bit of a tracking issue and Brian explained that slight tracking can often be expected and that continued use will better determine if adjustment is needed, or if just mastering the control arms can manually allow the "feathering" of the opposite arm can correct the tracking. This was very useful information to a first time user. All-in-all, the staff at Burke Equipment were outstanding and when I bring my mower in for service after the "break-in period", I'm certain the service will be excellent !!!
